I manage 2 short term holidays lets on the Isle of Skye, Scotland.  I’m passionate about Skye and sharing my properties with people from all over the world.

My background is in horticulture, I studied at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh.  Now, I just manage the lets having become too old and rickety to maintain gardens! I only started letting 4 years ago quite by accident but I love it.

Having started listing on booking sites such as B.Com I now market myself and in 4 years almost 80% of my bookings are direct. I would rather be empty than list on B.com but I appreciate how they can be useful for exposure.

I live in Edinburgh during the season and stay in Skye during the autumn and winter unless guests are booked in.   We remain open all year round.

Im married with 3 grown up kids and a couple of collies.  We all love spending time in Skye, it’s completely wild and remote, somewhere you can truly reconnect with nature.

I’m so grateful to be in in this industry and feel very blessed to have so many wonderful people stay with us and truly get what makes north east Skye so special.
